FEVER CONTINUES
ON ROGERS TELEVISION'S
THE CPSL SOCCER SHOW |
The
second season of The CPSL Soccer Show premiered on
Rogers Television June 23rd in the midst of soccer
fever sparked by the World Cup. Rogers Television's commitment
to local sports continues this summer with exclusive coverage
of The Canadian Professional Soccer League teams in several
of our markets.
Hosted
by Alex Bastyovanszky and Anton Granic, The CPSL Soccer
Show is an exciting, action-packed, half-hour sportsmagazine
providing extensive local soccer news and information. Tune
in for game highlights, team updates, in-studio interviews
and soccer game coverage from around the region.
"We
are pleased to have Rogers Television on board as the exclusive
broadcaster of The CPSL Soccer Show," said Vincent
Ursini, Canadian Professional Soccer League President. "For
years, local soccer fans have been denied complete coverage
of the regional soccer teams in Ontario. Rogers Television
now fills that gap," adds Ursini.
The CPSL
currently has 14 teams in Ontario and Québec. The league
is classified in North America as Second Division professional
soccer and it's Canada's only complete professional league.
Watch
The CPSL Soccer Show Sundays at 1:30pm on Rogers Television
